Ingredients

  • 4 cup caramel popcorn
  • 2 cup pretzels or pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mixed nuts or peanuts
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup autumn M&Ms or orange and yellow candy-coated chocolate
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or fall-colored chips
  • 1 cup corn Chex cereal
  • 0.25 cup white chocolate, melted melted for drizzle
  • 1 Orange food coloring (optional) for tinting the melted white chocolate

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Mix the base
  1. Combine caramel popcorn, pretzels, mixed nuts, corn Chex cereal, and chocolate chips in a large bowl.
  2. Melt the white chocolate (tint orange if desired) and drizzle it over the mix.
Set and add candy
  1. Toss gently, then spread on a parchment-lined sheet and let set for 10 minutes.
  2. Break apart the mix, then fold in the candy corn and autumn M&Ms.
Store
  1. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week for best crunch.

Notes

For the best texture, drizzle in thin ribbons and avoid stirring too aggressively while the chocolate is still warm. Keep this snack mix in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature; freezing is not recommended because candy coatings can soften. To make it gluten-free, swap the pretzels for certified gluten-free pretzel pieces.
