Method
Prep and preheat
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic until combined into a smooth glaze.
Season and coat
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Brush the honey-soy mixture generously over each pork chop.
Bake and glaze
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, then flip and re-baste with the glaze for even caramelization.
- Bake 10–13 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the glaze is caramelized and shiny.
Rest and serve
- Rest the pork chops for 3 minutes before serving immediately.
Notes
For best results, let the pork chops come to a close-to-room temperature for 5–10 minutes before baking so they cook evenly. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat gently so the glaze doesn’t darken too much. Freezing is not recommended because the glaze texture can soften. For a lower-sugar option, use a sugar-free honey substitute (measure by the label) while keeping the baking time the same.
