Ingredients

Apple Cider Aperol Spritz
  • 2 oz Aperol Use chilled for the best balance.
  • 3 oz apple cider Chill before mixing so it stays crisp.
  • 3 oz prosecco Chill and pour gently to keep bubbles.
  • 1 oz sparkling water Use cold to maintain carbonation.
  • 1 ice Enough to fill the glass.
  • 1 thin apple slice For garnish; add as shown.
  • 1 cinnamon stick For garnish; lightly aromatic finish.

Method

Build the spritz
  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice, packing it so the drink stays cold.
  2. Pour in Aperol and apple cider, then pause briefly so the flavors start mingling over the ice.
  3. Top with prosecco and sparkling water, pouring slowly to preserve the bubbles.
  4. Stir gently once to combine without flattening the carbonation.
  5. Garnish with the thin apple slice and cinnamon stick, then serve immediately.

Notes

Pro tip: keep all alcohol and mixers chilled before you start, and pour prosecco slowly so the spritz stays fizzy. Store leftovers only if needed (up to 1 day) since carbonation fades; it’s not freezer-friendly. For a lighter option, use half the Aperol and replace the reduction with extra chilled sparkling water to keep the same spritz style.
